Abstract

The article analyses the formation of primary school children's value attitudes towards their own health and the health of others and suggests ways to solve this problem in general secondary education institutions.
The purpose of the study is to determine the level of formation of primary school children's value attitude to their own health and the health of others.
The methodological basis of the study is the theories and concepts of: values (S. Anisimov, M. Bakhtin, A. Huseynov, O. Drobnytsky, S. Shalyutin); formation of a system of values in children, adolescents and youth (M. Kagan, D. Leontiev, O. Sukhomlynska and others).
The scientific novelty is that the level of formation of the value attitude of primary school children to their own health and the health of others is determined and the ways of its formation are identified.
Conclusions. Based on the analysis of the study results, it was found that primary school children generally have an average level of formation of value attitudes towards their own health and the health of others. Analysing each of the components (cognitive, value-motivational, behavioural and activity) of primary school children's value attitude to health, we can see a tendency towards partially formed and insufficiently formed results. In order to improve this indicator, it is appropriate to create a system of stimulating students' health-saving activities in general secondary education institutions. In addition, part of the pedagogical influence in general secondary education should be aimed at forming axiological guidelines for a healthy lifestyle and positive motivation to exercise. It is the creation of an attitude to consciously preserve and strengthen one's own health and the health of others that will give this activity value orientations.
