USE OF MODERN INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES TO POPULARIZE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the topical issues of promoting a healthy lifestyle with the use of information and communication technologies. Theoretical analysis of the specifics of the implementation of information and communication technologies to promote a healthy lifestyle and motivate young people to health in the context of educational regulations is proposed. Peculiarities and conditions of using information and communication technologies in the process of professional training of students in higher education are considered.

The purpose of the article is to determine the current issues of the use of information and communication technologies in the implementation of socio-pedagogical activities in educational institutions in order to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Methodology. The methodological basis of our study are systematic and personality-oriented approaches to the analysis of psychological and pedagogical sources of information, and an analysis of modern pedagogical experience in implementing ICT into the educational process, in particular to promote a healthy lifestyle. The paper uses a multilevel systematic analysis of information scientific sources, which is based on general, partial scientific and specific scientific philosophical level of knowledge.

Scientific novelty is to establish the main approaches to the introduction of information technology as a condition for promoting a healthy lifestyle in the implementation of sociopedagogical activities in educational institutions.

Conclusions An important field of social education of young people is the healthy lifestyle
formation, prevention of negative phenomena in the social environment. This activity is scientifically based and aimed at understanding the value of their own health, creating conditions for the prevention of dangerous behaviour, promoting a healthy lifestyle, using of effective methods of work with young people. An analysis of using of information and communication technologies helps to increase the effectiveness of socio-pedagogical activities. These processes enhance cognitive activity and independent work of students; provide positive motivation for a healthy lifestyle; high level of material differentiation; improve control and correction of acquired knowledge; provide access to search engines and electronic libraries.
