INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGIES AS A WAY OF FORMING THE ACTIVITY COMPONENT OF THE TUTOR COMPETENCE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the possibilities in using the interactive technologies in the process of forming the activity component of the tutor’s competence of future teachers for foreign languages.

The article’s purpose is to determine the current situation by formation the activity component of the tutor’s competence of future teachers for foreign languages and to reveal the possibilities of using interactive learning technologies with the aim to increase the level of its formation.

Methodology. It is used the following methods in the research: the method of analysis and synthesis, the method of generalization, the method of comparison, the testing, the survey, the pedagogical observation, the pedagogical experiment.

Scientific novelty. It is the first attempt to solve the problem of using modern innovative pedagogical technologies with the aim to increase the level of formation necessary for tutoring skills and abilities by future teachers, to actualize their subject position and autonomy.

Conclusions. So we can make the following conclusions. It is shown by analyzing the current situation of formation the activity component of the tutor’s competence of future teachers that the majority of applicants in the experimental and control groups have a low and average level of tutor skills. In order to determine changes in the activity component, it was introduced the pedagogical condition using the interactive technologies in the process of forming the tutor competence of future teachers for foreign languages. Using the interactive technologies such as «the brainstorming», «the round table», «the business game», «the case study» contribute to the development of facilitation, analytical, communication skills, individual and group work skills, skills to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge, as well as to act autonomy and responsibly.

The prospect of further researches consist in the outlined problem in the experimental verification of other structural components of the tutor competence of future teachers for foreign languages.
