Abstract

Article's purpose is to highlight the author's approach to creating and conducting a study quest in the process of professional training of future physics teachers.

Methodology. Development of conceptual provisions was carried out through the analysis of the author's pedagogical activity and envisaged the creation of a methodology for the use of quests in the teaching of physics students. The research and approbation of the author's variant of the educational quest was conducted during the experimental training of students - future teachers of physics – at Zaporizhia National University within the specialty 014 Secondary education, subject specialty 014.08 Secondary education (physics).

Scientific novelty. The authors extend the scope of the quest to the process of professional training of future teachers, including physics teachers, by giving the quest the most important functions: organizational, motivational, cognitive, investigative and communicative. It is emphasized that the creation and carrying out of educational physical quests is an effective means of organizing quasi-professional activity of students.

Conclusions. The authors have developed a series of quests «Labyrinths of Physics», which were tested in the process of professional training of future physics teachers, in particular during the implementation of the mentioned specialty team together with students – future physics teacher`s vocational meetings with students. The experience of introducing this form of educational activity into the process of professional training of future physics teachers.
