WORKBOOK AS MEANS OF INCREASING EFFICIENCY OF DISTANCE LEARNING IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract

The article reveals the features of electronic workbook usage while studying special disciplines during blended and distance education of students at higher education establishments taking into account modern requirements and learning conditions. The methods of electronic workbook application in learning activities as an effective element in educational environment have been described.

The method of innovative technologies application in educational process as a means of increasing interest in independent study of the module of the discipline «Design and calculation of tractor companies» is substantiated.

The purpose is to substantiate the relevance and effectiveness of using an electronic workbook while studying the discipline «Design and calculation of tractor companies» in terms of distance learning.

Methodology: the structural analysis of scientific, psychological, pedagogical and methodological literature and Internet resources on this problem and the practical use of the proposed method while studying the discipline «Design and calculation of tractor companies» for students of the Faculty of Technology of T.H. Shevchenko National University «Chernihiv Colehium» have been carried out during the research.
The scientific novelty is the introduction of electronic workbook usage while studying the module of the discipline in order to optimize the process of distance learning and the use of innovative learning technologies in higher education.

Conclusions. Thus, a necessary prerequisite for stimulating students' interest during special disciplines study is the use of modern innovative techniques and technologies, due to which the goal to ensure the effectiveness of educational process in terms of distance learning is achieved. In our opinion, the use of an electronic workbook to perform laboratory work on this discipline is one of these modern innovative techniques.
