FORMATION IN FUTURE TEACHERS PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES WITH DESIGN PHASES MEANS OF ARTS AND CRAFTS

Abstract

Recognition of the didactic value of arts and crafts, as well as its unlimited potential for the formation of the competence under consideration by students, necessitated the formulation of organizational and pedagogical conditions and substantiation of the theoretical foundations for the formation of professional teaching and professional training in design professions of pedagogical professions decorative arts, which is the purpose of our research.

Methodology. The methodological basis of the research is the provisions of the psychological-pedagogical theory of activity, the theory of competence approach in education, theoretical positions of research of leading scholars-educators in the field of art education on the basis of national-cultural traditions.

Scientific novelty is to find out the essence of the concept «professional competence of teachers of labor training and technology and teachers of vocational education in design phases»; formulation of organizational and pedagogical conditions, determination of stages of implementation of methodology, indicators, criteria and levels of formation of future teachers of vocational training and technologies and teachers of vocational education of the competence under consideration.

Conclusions. It is the national traditions in arts and crafts that are fundamental in the search for ethnic identification in the period of general internationalization of culture, in determining global technical and esthetic priorities that shape consumer values and influence the development of art and design. The integration of traditional forms of art into modern design leads to the objective need for future teachers of vocational training and technology and teachers of vocational education to develop their professional competence in design phases with decorative arts and crafts.
