WAYS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING CONCEPT IN THE ZAPORIZHZHIA NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

The article deals with the author's Concept of Foreign Languages Learning in Zaporizhzhia National University. Approaches to the modern organization of foreign language training for students of non-linguistic specialties make it possible to identify and comprehensively describe the essential properties of learning. It is noted that learning foreign languages in a professional-oriented sense is recognized as a priority area in the modernization of education. Factors that hinder the quality of foreign language teaching have been identified and described.
The purpose of the work is to substantiate the improvement of the Concept of Foreign Languages Learning in Zaporizhzhia National University, taking into consideration the specificity of foreign language professionally-oriented preparation of students of non-linguistic faculties.
The object of the study is the process of learning foreign languages for foreign language preparation. The subject of the study – students of non-linguistic specialties.
The methodology of the study was based on the relevant methodological tools: analysis and synthesis of data from specialized literature and Internet resources, content and metaanalysis, practical experience of leading specialists in the field of foreign language preparation.
The results of the research. It is stated what is necessary condition for establishing the effectiveness of teaching. The results of the questionnaire survey of students of the first and the second courses of non-linguistic faculties of Zaporizhzhia National University have been analyzed. The systematic approach in the organization of foreign language learning for specific purposes has been substantiated. It has been certified that the Concept provides for the study of foreign languages and the achievement of the level of proficiency – B2, which is the standard for the Bachelor's degree and provides special disciplines depending on the faculty. The importance of taking into consideration certain specificity in the process of studying foreign languages is pointed out and relevancy of foreign language for the realization of the tasks of future professional activity of the graduate is indicated.
Conclusions. The ways of improvement of the Concept of Foreign Language Learning in Zaporizhzhia National University, of methodological bases of management of the process of foreign language learning taking into consideration the current tendencies of development of foreign language training are determined.
