Abstract

The study presents a system of methodological recommendations concerning teaching of a special discipline «Aesthetics of history». This course addressed to postgraduate students (specialty 033 – Philosophy) has been recently included in educational program in O. M. Lazarevskyj Institute of history and social and humanitarian disciplines of T. H. Shevchenko National University «Chernihiv Colehium».

The aim of the article is to define the basis of the special discipline «Aesthetics of history» we propose to doctoral students-philosophers.

The methodology of the study presents a combination of methods of moderate rationalism, generalization and systematization of educational material and psychology of education and upbringing process.

Scientific novelty is to create an educational and methodological substratum for teaching of the special course «Aesthetics of history».

Conclusion. The authors of the article recommend to devote proposed lectures in aesthetics of history to the following topics disclosure: 1) «Aesthetics of history: preliminary notions», 2) «Philosophical and aesthetical comprehension of historical narrative» and 3) »Philosophical and aesthetical comprehension of the historic process». These topics formulation corresponds the structure of the aesthetics of history in general. The proposed educational material would help doctoral students to get preliminary knowledge about aesthetics of history essence, history of development and general characteristic features. Having learned about aesthetics of history as a cruising structural part of philosophy of history, students even may become interested in this branch of philosophy. Moreover since we propose this special course for postgraduate students who are supposed to work on their dissertations in philosophical (general and theoretical) sciences, it must possess rather developed theoretical dimension. Thereby this special philosophical discipline as well as the other ones would help the postgraduate students to become good theoreticians.
