The relevance of the research. Adequate physical activity serves as the primary adaptogen factor in the system of maintaining a healthy lifestyle for modern individuals, defining its paramount importance for the psycho-physical development of a person. Improving the physical fitness of various layers of the population in Ukraine contributes to the prevention of excessive or insufficient body weight, reduces the risk of cardiovascular pathology, diabetes, osteoporosis, immunodeficiency states, oncological diseases, respiratory system, and musculoskeletal system disorders, depression, and other psychopathic disorders. Consequently, the development of targeted physical education measures, taking into account individual parameters of physical development and psychophysiological capabilities of individuals, has acquired not only medical but also social-economic significance.
The purpose of the article is to conduct a comparative analysis of the motor qualities of students in the dynamics of applying individually-oriented exercises, considering their adaptability to physical loads.
The research methodology is based on general principles of sports training, basic modern positions of pedagogical science, and reflects the correlation of individualized approaches to physical activity in physical education classes and indicators of psycho-physiological condition in higher education students.
Novelty of the research. The impact of individually-oriented exercises, taking into account students' adaptability to physical loads during physical education classes, has been investigated.
Conclusions. Effective measures using health-improving technologies in higher education institutions should be based on the implementation of differentiated and individualized approaches to organizing physical education classes, optimizing modes of physical activity, and improving pedagogical control considering the adaptive capabilities of students. The dynamics of indicators of psycho-physiological condition in students in two groups – control and experimental – using individually-oriented exercises based on the ball assessment of physical and psychomotor qualities of higher education students has been investigated. The effectiveness of using individually-oriented exercises in physical education classes has been confirmed. A comparative analysis of the effectiveness of individual and traditional physical education measures in students with a similar level of adaptability to physical loads provides grounds to attest a positive dynamic in the experimental group (p<0.01), while no significant changes were found in the control group based on the selected criteria (p>0.05).
