Abstract

Problem. The article highlights the current state of development of Ukrainian sports in the conditions of the current geopolitical situation and modern approaches to the training of Ukrainian athletes and specialists in physical culture, fitness and recreation as people of helping professions. Teaching curricula were studied from the point of view of the presence in them of courses on the basics of physiotherapy or sports physiotherapy. It has been proven that the use of physiotherapeutic procedures has a positive effect on both the physical and psycho-emotional state of both professional and amateur athletes. It was determined that the curricula of the faculties of physical culture, fitness and recreation of Ukrainian higher educational institutions need the development of courses on the basics of physiotherapy or sports physiotherapy.

The purpose of the article is to investigate the curricula of the faculties of physical education, fitness and recreation of Ukrainian higher educational institutions, for the purpose of introducing teaching them the basics of physiotherapy or sports physiotherapy, to compare them with the modern foreign experience of teaching the basics of physiotherapy or sports physiotherapy for specialists in physical culture, fitness and recreation .

Methodology of humanistic and systemic approaches, theoretical analysis and generali­zation of literature data; pedagogical research methods; methods of mathematical statistics.

Scientific novelty. It has been proven that the educational programs of teaching at the faculties of physical culture, fitness and recreation need modern changes and the inclusion of such disciplines as the basics of physiotherapy or sports physiotherapy.

Conclusions. 1. Curriculums of the faculties of physical culture, fitness and recreation of higher educational institutions of Ukraine should be revised to introduce courses on sports physiotherapy or the basics of physiotherapy. 2. Courses on sports physiotherapy or the basics of physiotherapy should be developed for the faculties of physical culture, fitness and recreation of higher educational institutions of Ukraine. 3. Teaching courses on sports physiotherapy or the basics of physiotherapy will enrich the professional experience of physical culture, fitness and recreation specialists, increase their value on the labor market, provide them with opportunities to
