The aim: to substantiate the use of traditional and innovative technologies for monitoring the posture of higher education students.
Methodology. To achieve the goal and solve the research tasks, a set of modern theoretical methods was used, in particular, conceptual and comparative analysis, structural and systemic analysis, synthesis, generalization. With the help of the used methods, we systematized and summarized information about the researched object and subject, compared the available theoretical approaches and methods of monitoring the attitude of higher education students.
Scientific novelty. The scientific novelty of the study consists in highlighting traditional and innovative technologies for monitoring the posture of higher education students. The existence of subjective (visual) and objective (innovative, computer) methods of determining posture disorders of students of education, in particular stooping, rounded, rounded and flat backs, was found out.
Conclusions. It was established that the use of monitoring allows to evaluate the current state of physical health of students of higher education and predict possible changes. It was found that the works of most researchers are aimed at studying the features and developing methods of posture formation. The application of posture monitoring technologies and assessment of the spatial location of biolinks of the body of the subjects is determined by the material and technical support of the unit and the qualifications of the staff. It has been determined that the development of posture depends on numerous factors, the key ones being the formation of spinal curves and the balance of the muscles that keep the body in an upright position. An important factor influencing the formation of the posture of higher education students is the level of motor activity. It was established that the obtained data on the state of posture of higher education students will allow to make corrections in the work programs of educational disciplines, to develop complexes of physical exercises aimed at developing flexibility in the joints of certain biological links of the body, and developing the muscles of the spinal column.
