IMPLEMENTATION OF CHOREOTHERAPY IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES WITH STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

The article analyzes the implementation of choreotherapy in physical education classes for students with special educational needs. In Ukraine, this method is not yet widespread, so the popularization and development of choreotherapy is extremely relevant. It has been determined that choreotherapy provides an alternative method of working with students with special needs. Through movements, such students can express hidden emotions, and the teacher can explore new patterns of behavior. Dance helps to increase self-esteem and self-confidence. Dance therapy is also used to rehabilitate students, as it promotes body awareness and emotional self-regulation.
Purpose. To theoretically analyze the implementation of choreotherapy in physical education classes for students with special educational needs.
Methodology. To realize the main objectives of the study, theoretical methods were used: comparison, comparison and generalization.
The scientific novelty of the study is the most in-depth study of choreotherapy in working with students with special educational needs for the effective conduct of physical education lessons.
Conclusions. The theoretical analysis of choreotherapy indicates the importance of this method in working with students with special educational needs. They emphasize the impact of therapy on the physical, emotional and social development of these students, as well as the promotion of their integration and improvement of their quality of life. Thus, choreotherapy appears to be a valid and promising method for supporting this special category of children.
