THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION IS ONE OF THE KEY INDICATORS OF SUCCESSFUL EUROPEAN INTEGRATION OF UKRAINE

The article examines the priority areas and main trends of the development of Ukrainian education in the context of European integration, orientation towards European standards of education quality, fulfillment of the conditions of the European Union regarding accession to the commonwealth. It has been proven that in Ukraine, as well as in the countries of the European Union, emphasis should be placed not only on the level of access to education quantitative indicator, but also on its quality.
The research deals with studying and summarizing the experience of adapting European models of the functioning of internal and external education quality strategies, the role of the State Education Quality Service of Ukraine in the formation of a modern education system, the importance of screening monitoring in internal and external strategies for ensuring the quality of education. Particular attention is paid to modern developments and mechanisms designed to reform the system of state education policy. In particular, such new phenomena for Ukrainian education as institutional audit, certification, the EvaluED information and analytical system, the First «Education Quality Forum», systematic multifaceted studies and monitoring of educational processes, which should become the basis for management decisions.
The main milestones of the implementation of the state policy in the field of ensuring the quality of education and the quality of educational activities have been determined, taking into account the challenges associated with quarantine restrictions due to COVID-19 and full-scale military aggression. The psychical and emotional component, which affects the organization of a high-quality educational process during martial law, is analyzed
