JUSTIFICATION OF THE ROLE OF HIGHER MATHEMATICS IN THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF BACHELORS OF THE ECONOMIC PROFILE

The cycle of general professional training of bachelors of the economic profile provides for the study of the course of higher mathematics. The purpose of studying higher mathematics is to master students with the methodology of a general scientific approach to mathematical modeling and the development of economic systems, which in turn serves as the scientific basis for further research in professional training and future professional activity. The general development function of higher mathematics is to develop the analytical, logical, abstract thinking of students.
In particular, in the vocational training of future bachelors of the economic profile, the study of higher mathematics creates a scientific basis for the study of special subjects such as statistics, econometrics, probability theory, optimal management theory, micro- and macroeconomics, etc. The article actualizes the role of higher mathematics as a fundamental stage of professional training of future bachelors of economic profile to the study of special professional disciplines and substantiates its role in the formation of personal qualities of future specialists.
The purpose of the article is to substantiate the place and role of the study of higher mathematics in the professional formation of specialists in the economic profile.
The methodology of the study was the ideas of system, personality-oriented, activity, competence and technological approaches in education.
Methods of research: theoretical (analysis and generalization of scientific and pedagogical, educational and methodological literature and pedagogical education); empirical (observation of student learning activities, conversations with students, analysis of student learning activities).
Scientific novelty: The place and role of the study of higher mathematics in the professional training of bachelors of economic profile is proved.
Conclusions. The subject "Higher Mathematics" in the educational program for the preparation of bachelors of the economic profile belongs to the fundamental scientific basis, which creates the basis for mastering special subjects of economic training and the formation of personal qualities of future specialists.
The use of interdisciplinary connections of higher mathematics with the disciplines of the economic cycle will increase the motivation of students to master special disciplines.
