The article explores the topical issue of developing logical culture as a key component of the professional competence of students majoring in «Analysis of Socio-Political Processes». It is substantiated that, under the conditions of contemporary information oversaturation, political polarization, and the spread of manipulative technologies, logical, structured, and critical thinking functions not only as an academic skill but also as an applied necessity in the professional activity of an analyst. The concept of logical culture is clarified in the context of analytical training, with its cognitive, communicative, and ethical dimensions identified.
The purpose of the study is to provide a theoretical rationale and practical modeling of the process of developing logical culture in higher education.
The methodological foundation includes an interdisciplinary approach, comparative analysis of international experience, modeling, and elements of pedagogical forecasting. A model of logical-analytical training is proposed, which integrates elements of formal logic, critical thinking, social analysis, media literacy, and digital tools. Special attention is paid to the use of case-based methods, debate platforms, and generative AI as means of developing logical reflection.
The scientific novelty lies in the systematization of the structural components of logical culture in the training of future analysts and in the development of a tool-enriched educational model that combines theoretical preparation with practice-oriented forms of activity.
The conclusions confirm the need for a systemic renewal of approaches to teaching logic in higher education, taking into account the needs of professional analytics. Logical culture should be formed as a cross-cutting educational strategy that ensures the ability to engage in reasoned, consistent, and critical thinking under conditions of socio-political complexity.
