The article is devoted to the study of one of the structural components of the emotional stability female football athletes – the motivational component, which has a systemic impact on the emotional stability of female football athletes through the implementation of stimulating, regulatory and content functions. The article presents the results of experimental studies to establish the level of the motivational component of the emotional stability of female football athletes. The ways of forming the motivational component of emotional stability female football athletes are substantiated (ways of helping to overcome fear; a system of means of forming motivation for success of female football athletes) and the results of a formative experiment on the effectiveness of their implementation in the educational and training process are presented.
The purpose of the article is to substantiate the ways of forming the motivational component of emotional stability female football athletes and to verify the effectiveness of their implementation in the educational and training process.
The research methodology is based on a set of interrelated research methods: theoretical analysis and generalization of data from scientific and methodological literature; pedagogical research methods (observation, interviewing, ascertaining and formative experiments); psychodiagnostic research methods; methods of mathematical statistics.
The scientific novelty lies in identifying the level of the motivational component of emotional stability female football athletes; substantiating the ways of forming the motivational component of emotional stability female football athletes and experimentally testing their implementation in the educational and training process.
Conclusions. It has been experimentally proven that the implementation of a system of tools (exercises for developing self-motivation skills, reframing and auto-reframing, keeping a diary to record success, training in goal-setting, etc.) and practical recommendations for the development of the motivational component of emotional resilience in female football players had a positive impact on its development. The number of female athletes with a moderately high level of success achievement increased by 13.4%, a very high level by 6.7%, and the number of female football athletes with an average level of success achievement decreased by 13.4%; this contributed to an increase in the number of female athletes motivated for success by 20% and a decrease in the number of female athletes motivated for failure by 13.3%. Increasing the motivational component of emotional resilience of female soccer athletes provided the athletes with the ability to formulate realistic goals, find ways to solve problems when faced with stressful factors.
