Abstract

The purpose of the article is to identify the pedagogical conditions for the formation of motivation for physical activity among 10-11th grade students.

Methodology. The study employs theoretical methods, including abstraction, analysis, synthesis, and generalization of scientific sources, which enables the exploration of the current state of research on the formation of motivation for physical activity among 10-11th grade students, as well as the systematization and generalization of information about the studied object. Comparative analysis and contrast are used to compare scholars' approaches to the phenomenon under investigation and clarify key concepts.

Scientific Novelty lies in analysing theoretical and methodological foundations of forming the motivation for physical activity among students and identifying pedagogical conditions for promoting motivation for physical activity among 10-11th grade learners.

Conclusions. The study concludes that exploring the conditions for forming the motivation for physical activity among students is a relevant issue in physical education systems across various countries. The analysis of scientific literature on the research problem indicates that physical activity is a powerful tool for promoting health, fostering a healthy lifestyle, preventing harmful habits, and counteracting negative phenomena prevalent in the modern lifestyle of students, particularly those in the 10th- 11th grades. These phenomena include increased psychological and emotional stress from the learning process, the prevalence of distance learning, and reduced physical initiative, among the others. The analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, the results of experimental studies by scholars on this issue, the examination of international and domestic pedagogical experiences related to motivating students' learning activities in physical education classes, and surveys of teachers have enabled the identification of pedagogical conditions that can enhance the effectiveness of forming the motivation for physical activity among 10-11th grade students. Further research may focus on testing the effectiveness of the identified pedagogical conditions for promoting motivation for physical activity among 10-11th grade students.
