Abstract

The modern system of domestic education is characterized by constant updates and the introduction of innovative pedagogical technologies. These include, among other things, the technology of coaching technology. Coaching helps to activate the internal resources of both the student and the teacher. This is a way to optimize the interaction between the teacher and the student. The technology allows you to identify the strengths of the student, overcome personal barriers and limitations, and achieve the best possible result.

The term coaching is interpreted as mentoring, inspiration, training. Coaching creates conditions for the formation of a personality that is able to realize its potential, independently make responsible decisions. The purpose of using coaching is to reveal the inner potential of a person.

Coaching is an interaction between a teacher and students, when the teacher effectively organizes the process of finding the best answers to the questions relevant to the latter. Coaching technology is similar in many aspects to individual training. The decisive issue in coaching is the issue of motivation – the first basic structural component of both educational activity and a successful coaching session. The goal of the teacher-coach is to help students in conscious and active learning.

The purpose of the article is to consider the features of coaching technology as a tool for educational innovations.

The methodological basis of the article are philosophical, psychological, pedagogical theories and regulations that reveal the conceptual approaches due to the studied issues.

The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the article considers the essence of coaching technology, in particular educational coaching, as a tool for educational innovations.

Conclusions. As a learning technology, coaching has undergone an evolution of formation, development and improvement. Today, coaching is understood as an innovative technology that is a type of innovative educational practice, where the coach directs the process of obtaining new experience by an individual. The goal of using educational coaching is to reveal the internal potential of a person. The meaningful component of coaching is transformation.
