Abstract

The article presents the results of research on the state of training of social workers in the UK: the standard of training of social workers in the UK is characterized the standard of education for social workers in the UK: the standard of education for social workers in England has been developed; certain areas of the standard components have been identified the standard of education for social workers in England; certain areas of the standard components (knowledge of laws (law), advocacy, confidentiality, working with people, understanding the role of a social worker of the social worker, culture, identity and values, ethics, social justice, communication, responding to abuse, neglect or maltreatment, continuous professional development behavior, continuous professional development, observation and reflection, health and quality of work, professional integrity, candor, conflict of interest, professional relationships, gifts, money and services, working with colleagues, decision-making, accounting, information and communication technologies, social media, reporting issues); uniformity of distribution of academic workload throughout the entire period of study of bachelor's degree applicants; describes the phased, practical preparation for employment in the specialty for full-time bachelors with an academic qualification in social work in the UK.

The purpose of the article is to theoretically analyze and identify the effective features of training of social workers with the prospect of further use of the best experience in the training of social workers in Ukraine.

The research methodology is based on the use of systemic, personality-oriented, activity-based competency-based and technological approaches. It combines analysis and synthesis, comparison and contrast of legal documents, scientific and pedagogical sources educational and methodological literature, pedagogical experience and analysis of students' learning and analysis of students' learning activities, analysis of the experience of higher education institutions in the United Kingdom.

The scientific novelty of the study of the study is to find the best examples of social worker training in Ukraine. The research is based on the example of determining the peculiarities of professional training of social workers at the bachelor's level in the UK.
