SPECIAL ACADEMIC DISCIPLINE «AESTHETICS OF HISTORY» FOR STUDENTS OF HUMANITARIAN SPECIALTIES

The preliminary project of special discipline «Aesthetics of History» is proposed by author of the study. This discipline has been developing for students of humanitarian specialties, first of all for future philosophers, historians and culturologists.
The aim of the article is to define the main characteristic features of the special discipline «Aesthetics of history» (its role, volume, tasks, etc.).
The methodology of the study presents a combination of methods of critical rationalism and psychology of process of education and upbringing.
Scientific novelty is to argue the expediency of establishing of special discipline «Aesthetics of history» as a constituent part of modern education and professional programs, which have been developing in domestic universities and academies. Moreover, the author proposes his own conception of both such a discipline and the aesthetics of history as a philosophical science, a structural part of philosophy of history.
Conclusion. Aesthetics of history should be regarded as a kind of unusual and original enough science / special discipline. More or less thorough studying of such subjects as philosophy, aesthetics, history of Ukraine, world history, history of domestic and foreign culture, history of Ukrainian literature and history of foreign literature must precede studying of aesthetics of history by students. That is why this special discipline should become a subject to study by «mature» fourth year students. Its structure has to correspond the structure of the aesthetics of history as a philosophical science, which aims at exploration of historical narrative and historical process from point of view of aesthetics. Thereby, we can distinguish three important components of the aesthetics of history as a special educational discipline – 1) «Aesthetics of history as a branch of philosophical knowledge», 2) «Creation and reception of historical narrative» and 3) «Reception and creation of historical process» (human factor of historical narrative and historical process would appear in the focus of our exploration this time). Thus, it is advisable to develop special discipline «Aesthetics of history» and to make it one of academic disciplines, at least of academic disciplines to choose (however, students may not choose it in the cause of its specificity and originality in this case).
