Abstract

The article explores the pedagogical potential of the educational component of the professional training cycle for higher education students in the specialty «Physical Culture and Sports» in distance learning. The impact of distance learning on the quality of training for education students is considered. It is determined that the formation of special managerial competencies of higher education students in the field of physical culture and sports is currently a rather relevant issue.

The purpose of the study: the formation of professional competencies among students during the study of the academic discipline «Theory of Management in Physical Culture and Sports» in the distance learning mode.

The structure and thematic content of the content modules of the discipline, forms of current and final control, interactive teaching methods are disclosed. Forms and methods of educational activity aimed at the professional development of future applicants are outlined.

The results of the survey on determining the effectiveness of the teaching methodology of the educational component in a distance format and the level of mastery of theoretical material and practical skills of applicants allowed us to state that from 87% to 100% of respondents determined that professional competencies were formed, which will allow them to successfully implement the acquired knowledge and professional skills in pedagogical activities and the provision of services in the field of physical culture and sports after completing the educational program.
