The article presents the results of a study of the impact of an experimental physical education programme based on differentiated teaching methods on the functional state of students' organisms, in particular: the cardiovascular system by changes in heart rate, the respiratory system by the functional Genchi test.
The purpose of the research is to theoretically substantiate and determine the influence of physical exercises by differentiated teaching methods on the functional state of cardiorespiratory system of primary school pupils' organism.
Methodology. A complex of interrelated methods was used to solve the tasks: theoretical (analysis and generalisation of special scientific literature); pedagogical (testing, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, survey (questionnaire); medical and biological – physiometric indicators of physical health; statistical methods of data processing.
The scientific novelty of the study is to compare the physiometric indicators of the cardiorespiratory system of children aged 7-8 years under the influence of the current and experimental physical education programmes.
Conclusions. It has been established that the introduction of an experimental physical education programme based on differentiated teaching methods contributes to the improvement of functional indicators of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems of primary schoolchildren. The research is aimed at improving the effectiveness of physical education in solving health problems. The results of the research prove the significant effectiveness of the proposed means and methods of training based on the change of adaptive features of cumulative and urgent nature in the physical condition of primary school students.
