Abstract

Taking into consideration present day realities, caring for the individual development and professional formation of each cadet of a military higher education institution should be a priority, since the formation of professional competence and readiness to perform official and professional duties while serving in various units of the security and defense sector of Ukraine depend on their value orientations and personal motivation to learn.

The authors of the article note that a number of pedagogical technologies can be used to address the issue of forming an individual path of success for young officers allowing them to form professional competence. However, most of them do not have a comprehensive systematic nature in terms of direct scientific and methodological support of the process of professional teaching and facilitative support for a young officer. The authors believe that pedagogical coaching is an effective technology of scientific and methodological support in the current conditions of military higher education institutions. This technology provides systematic support for the cadet, partner communication cooperation, forming a continuous path of development, improvement, revealing the potential of the individual, modeling the format of increasing self-motivation, self-responsibility, self-education throughout life, etc.

The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate the use of pedagogical coaching to shape young officers’ path of success.

Methodology. The study of scientific publications, systematization of the results of the analysis of scientific and educational literature, disclosure of the main definitions of the problem under study, generalization and conclusions.

The scientific novelty lies in the substantiation of the possibility of using pedagogical coaching to form professional competence, readiness for service and professional activities of young officers and forming a path of their success in the direction of self-motivation, self-education, self-realization throughout life.

Conclusions. The authors of the article conclude that pedagogical coaching is one of the resource aspects of pedagogical activity; it can be used as an innovative technology for forming a path of success for young officers, allows them to open a personal progressive path of development and be ready to respond in a timely manner to certain challenges of military service and society.
