Abstract

The article considers the possibilities of using art therapy in the modern educational process. It has been proven that in modern conditions, an impotent task of education is not only learning, but also ensuring the emotional and psychological comfort of students. It was found that regardless of the type of institution, art therapy plays an important role in shaping psychological comfort, internal balance, and personal growth of students. The content and forms of art therapy are analyzed, which change according to age needs and objectives of each stage of the educational process. The expe­diency of using art therapy methods in educational institutions as a tool for emotional development, stress reduction, and the formation of creativity and social skills of students is substantiated.

The purpose of the article is to study and analyze, based on theoretical and methodological principles, the features and potential of art therapy as an effective psychological and pedagogical tool in the educational activities of educational institutions.

The methodological basis of the study is based on the analysis of scientific literature, observations, generalization of experience, and empirical data from the practice of using art therapy in educational institutions.

The scientific novelty of the article lies in the thorough study and systematization of the directions of art therapy activity in the educational environment, as well as in identifying their impact on the emotional state and educational motivation of students.

Conclusions: Art therapy is an important innovative resource for creating a safe and supportive educational environment that contributes to the harmonious development of the personality and the formation of a positive attitude to learning. It is not only a method of psychological support but also a means of emotional education, stress prevention, and the development of life skills. Given the current challenges of modern society, art therapy is a necessary component of harmonious, innovative pedagogy. Thus, in the modern world, art therapy is an effective, accessible and universal method of self-knowledge, restoration and development. Therefore, its implementation in various spheres of life is not just an important, but a necessary step towards a harmonious society.
