PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES TO ORGANIZING PHYSICAL CULTURE LESSONS IN SENIOR FORMS IN DISTANCE LEARNING CONDITIONS

Abstract

The article determines the actuality of using online physical education formats under martial law as an alternative form of education and a necessary condition for ensuring the continuity of the development of senior school pupils’ motor activity; analyzes the organizational and methodological peculiarities of conducting Physical Culture lessons in senior school in distance learning conditions; grounds the expediency of complex implementation of personally oriented, competencybased, and motivational and stimulating approaches.

The purpose of the article is to define and theoretically substantiate the pedagogical approaches to organizing Physical Culture lessons in senior school in distance learning conditions.

Methodology. To achieve the goal of the study, the following methods were used: comparative and logical analysis of pedagogical approaches to organizing online Physical Culture lessons; observation of the educational process and generalization of the pedagogical experience of Physical Culture teachers; systematization and interpretation of the results in order to formulate the conclusions.

The scientific novelty is to clarify the organizational and methodological peculiarities of conducting distance Physical Culture lessons in senior school; ground the expediency of comprehensive implementation of personally oriented, competency-based and motivational and stimulating approaches as a pedagogical condition for the effectiveness of online Physical Culture lessons and ensuring motor activity, motivation and safety of senior school pupils in distance learning conditions.

Conclusions. In modern conditions of transformations of the educational process, caused by martial law and the spread of distance and blended forms of learning, online Physical Culture lessons are a necessary and pedagogically appropriate form of ensuring senior pupils’ motor activity, the effectiveness of which is determined by the adaptation of the content of education to the conditions of the home environment, the age characteristics of senior pupils and the complex implementation of competency-based, personally oriented and motivational and stimulating approaches.

Further research can be aimed at the development and implementation of blended learning models and digital platforms for monitoring the motor activity of senior pupils.
