The article substantiates the possibility of comprehensive use of the three types of basketball within one content area of physical education as a tool for improving modern lessons in NUS. A methodological approach to integrating game actions and technical elements is proposed to enhance diversity and accessibility of learning.
Conclusions. The integration of sports games into the educational process of schools is an effective direction for modernizing the content of physical education, as it increases students’ interest in physical activity, promotes the development of technical and tactical skills, and supports the improvement of physical qualities.
