Abstract

The article deals with the value aspects of the informational culture. It researches the axiological approach and its universal role in the process of informational society development on the one part and in the process of learning foreign languages on the other part. The authors determine the main value orientations of modern society and examine their influence on the specific features of forming informational culture to future foreign language teachers.
The purpose of the article. To determine the role of the implementation of the axiological approach while forming the informational culture of future foreign language teachers, as well as to single out the axiological characteristics of the informational culture, which will allow to develop axiological thinking skills, and the social and cultural dominants of education, taking into account the high moral needs of the individual.
Methodology is based on traditional theoretical research methods such as analysis, generali-zation, comparison, and systematization of theoretical issues related to the problem under consideration.
Scientific novelty. This is the first attempt to consider the axiological approach as a profound theoretical and philosophical basis for the development of an effective model for the formation of future foreign language teachers’ informational culture.
Conclusions. The implementation of the axiological approach will bring pedagogical science to a new level, considering a personality and their values as the goal of the development of the information society. In the context of the approach, the priority of the educational component of informational culture becomes the personality of the teacher, whose professional motivation is subordinated to general humanistic principles.
