Abstract

In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the creation of a new specialty «Defense of Ukraine», there was a need to adapt students to the specific conditions of activity considering the combat situation, where the motor actions differ from the standard ones with a number of uncomfortable positions, physical exertion and psychological stress. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the students’ training for the defense of Ukraine within a new specialty is mandatory.

The purpose of the article is to study, in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the preparedness of students for the defense of Ukraine in a new specialty. The research was conducted with the aim of creating conditions for overcoming obstacles on the basis of projected modules that are able to adapt students to their stay in critical situations. It is difficult to model the necessary conditions within an educational institution, which is a problem during the training of students in a new specialty.

The involvement of the military in the educational process on their practical bases does not completely solve the problem, because the number of students is large (and it is not online), the bases are limited, and most importantly – for security reasons, it is not recommended to hold mass events at military bases. One of the creative approaches remains the design of simplified obstacle courses on our own bases. When overcoming obstacles, it is important for students in the projected group to determine the methods of action that are adequate to the conditions faced by the military on the front line, so the search for alternative teaching methods has become a priority in our study.

The methodological basis is classical research methods: the method of analysis, the dialectical method, the method of explanation, the method of generalization. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that for the first time, the development of special qualities in students for their stay in the risk zone is conceptually considered. One of the tasks in the search for priority actions for adaptability in certain conditions was to conduct a survey among the military who had an experience of being in conditions of confrontation with the enemy. There are stormtroopers, airborne assault forces, operators, communicators, artillerymen among them. According to the results of the survey, the experts preferred psychological endurance and physical activity.

Conclusions. It is noted that the study identified methods of training in threat perception and acquiring skills in time to make decisions before taking actions. The study identifies methods of teaching in the perception of threats and the acquisition of skills in time to make decisions before action. The obstacle overcoming course project involves the support of specific sound and light effects. The results of overcoming obstacles are based on conditionally developed evaluation criteria for obstacles both in terms of scores and formats (more or less).
