USING INTERACTIVE FORMS AND METHODS WHILE TEACHING ACADEMIC DISCIPLINE «FUNDAMENTALS OF GENERAL AND SPECIAL CLERICAL CORRESPONDENCE» IN THE PROCESS OF TRAINING FUTURE STAFF OF THE CRIMINAL AND EXECUTIVE SERVICE OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The article deals with the method of training employees of the State Criminal and Executive Service of Ukraine to maintaining business documents while executing professional tasks. The essence of the program of the discipline «Fundamentals of General and Special Clerical Correspondence» is analyzed. It is proved that the efficiency of acquiring cadets’ necessary knowledge and skills is influenced by using interactive teaching methods, computer technologies, examining the plot of situational tasks, conducting business games, making exercises. Recommendations are given to the teachers on using different forms and methods of teaching Fundamentals of Clerical Correspondence to cadets while conducting practical sessions.

Target. To analyze the essence of the program of the discipline «Fundamentals of General and Special Clerical Correspondence» and to correlate its essence with the normative legal acts that are in force in the field of special clerical correspondence, to develop and present interactive methods and technologies that are effective in specified discipline teaching.

Methodology. In order to determine the most effective methods and technologies that allow to form the competence in special clerical correspondence in the system of professional training of future employees of the State Criminal and Executive Service of Ukraine the following methods were used: analysis of normative legal acts regulating special clerical correspondence; pedagogical observation of the process of cadets’ mastering knowledge and skills in special clerical correspondence; interactive methods during practical training in the discipline «Fundamentals of General and Special Clerical Correspondence».

Scientific novelty. For the first time: the essence of the program of the discipline «Fundamentals of General and Special Clerical Correspondence» was analyzed and its consistency with the normative legal acts in this field was determined; the complex of interactive methods was considered, the use of which allows to form the necessary competencies among the future specialists of the State Criminal and Executive Service in special clerical correspondence.

Conclusions. The maintained analysis of the program of the discipline «Fundamentals of General and Special Clerical Correspondence» showed that its essence is in full compliance with the normative legal acts that are in force in this field. The practice of using interactive methods in the process of professional training of cadets of the Academy of the State Penitentiary Service proves their effectiveness, because the applicants of higher education have the opportunity to gain experience with both electronic and paper documents, master the abilities to identify key issues, collect and process information, etc.
