MOTIVATION TOOLS FOR FORMING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE EDUCATION MANAGERS OF THE NEW GENERATION IN THE CONDITIONS OF MASTER'S TRAINING

The readiness of a new generation education manager to effectively and efficiently perform managerial functions is a determining factor in the development and competitiveness of an educational institution. However, the formation of a manager's professional competence cannot occur only through the transfer of knowledge – the motivational component of professional training is of key importance, especially in the conditions of the master's degree, where the managerial position of the future education manager is being formed. That is why the problem of motivation for the development of professional competence of new generation education managers is becoming particularly relevant.
Purpose of the article. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate and reveal the features of the formation of professional competence of new generation education managers in the conditions of master's training, taking into account motivational and value factors and tools of professional self-development.
Research methodology. The methodological basis of the study is the systemic, competency, axiological and activity approaches, which allowed us to consider the professional competence of an education manager as an integral formation that is formed in the process of professional training. The methods of theoretical analysis, comparison, generalization of scientific sources, structural and logical modeling were used, which provided the possibility of determining the content and motivational factors of the development of management competencies of master's students.
Scientific novelty of the study. The scientific novelty lies in specifying the content of the motivational and value component of the professional competence of future education managers and substantiating the pedagogical conditions for its formation in the educational environment of the master's degree. The role of individualization of the educational trajectory, reflective practices and management cases as tools for motivating the professional self-development of the education manager is clarified.
Research conclusions. As a result of the study, it was proven that the formation of professional competence of new generation education managers in the conditions of master's training is effective provided that the knowledge-practical and motivational-value components are integrated. Motivation of professional self-development, involvement in real management experience, reflective activity and individualization of the educational trajectory are key factors in the formation of the future head of an educational institution. Prospects for further research are related to the development of a model of motivational support for the professional training of education managers and empirical verification of its effectiveness.
